THE COLLECTION

What is Lester Roderick?
Lester Roderick is an independent bridal atelier exploring the intersection of fashion, art, and personal expression. Each design is approached as a study in form, emotion, and the art of ceremony — created for the bride who sees her wedding day as something deeply personal.

Are all pieces made to order?
Yes. Every Lester Roderick piece is made to order in the standard size closest to your confirmed measurements, with intention and care. This approach allows us to prioritize craftsmanship, thoughtful production, and the individuality of each garment.

Can I purchase a gown directly through the website?
Our collections are presented online as an introduction to the atelier. To begin your order, we invite you to schedule an appointment or contact us directly.

Will the collection change over time?
Our collections are released with intention rather than according to traditional seasonal calendars. Each release reflects an evolving creative perspective, with select designs remaining part of the atelier's offering.

Are accessories available?
At launch, our focus is exclusively on the garments themselves. Additional offerings may be introduced as the atelier evolves.

THE EXPERIENCE

How do I begin my journey with Lester Roderick?
Your experience begins with a private appointment to explore the collection, discuss the pieces you are drawn to, and determine whether a Lester Roderick gown is right for your occasion. Virtual appointments offer a guided viewing of your selected pieces, with time to discuss materials, sizing, and the ordering process.

Can I view the fabrics before ordering?
During your appointment, the atelier will guide you through the materials and details of your selected gown. For virtual clients who would like to experience the fabric in person before placing an order, a small selection of relevant swatches can be arranged following the consultation.

When will I receive my Fabric Study Box?
Your Fabric Study Box is prepared following confirmation of your gown order and receipt of your deposit. Curated around the materials selected for your gown, it offers a personal introduction to your piece as your order begins.

What appointments do you offer?
We offer virtual and in-person appointments. Virtual appointments are $75, and in-person appointments are $125. Your appointment fee is credited toward your gown when you place your order.

Each experience offers an opportunity to connect with the atelier, explore the collection, and discuss your bridal vision. The location of in-person appointments is shared privately once your appointment is confirmed.

How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be scheduled directly through our website. Please visit our booking page to explore available appointment experiences and secure your preferred date.

Can I request a custom design?
At this time, Lester Roderick offers its collections as designed. Custom designs and modifications are not available at launch, allowing us to preserve the integrity and original intention of each piece.

ORDERING & PRODUCTION

How far in advance should I begin shopping?
We recommend beginning your bridal journey at least 12 months before your wedding date. This allows ample time to explore the collection, secure your design, complete production, and accommodate any necessary alterations.

How long does production take?
Each Lester Roderick piece is made to order. Please allow approximately 8–10 months for the full production process, including preparation and delivery. Your anticipated timeline will be discussed during your appointment.

Do you accept rush orders?
Orders placed less than eight months before your wedding date are considered rush orders and are subject to availability and an additional rush production fee. Please contact the atelier before proceeding.

What is required to initiate my order?
A 25% deposit is required to initiate your order and secure your design. Your appointment fee is applied toward this amount. The remaining balance follows our production payment structure: 50% is due when production begins, and the final 25% is due before your garment ships. Orders will not be dispatched until the final payment has been received.

What happens if my wedding date changes?
We understand that plans can evolve. If your wedding date changes, the atelier will work with you to review your production timeline and make reasonable adjustments to your payment schedule where possible.

What happens if my wedding is cancelled?
Wedding cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the atelier directly so we can review your individual circumstances and determine the appropriate next steps.

SIZING & FIT

What sizes do you offer?
Gowns are offered in US sizes 2 to 14, and lingerie in sizes XS to 1XL. View the size guide.

How do I determine my size?
We use your confirmed measurements to select the closest standard size on our size chart, rather than relying on your usual ready-to-wear size. Measurements are taken during your in-person appointment, or the atelier will guide you through taking accurate measurements during a virtual appointment. You and the atelier review and sign off on your measurements before production begins. Garments are made in standard sizes, not to individual measurements. Our size guide includes both charts and how to measure.

Do you offer alterations?
Alterations are not performed by the atelier. We recommend working with a qualified bridal seamstress for any necessary adjustments following delivery.

What if my measurements change after ordering?
Your garment is made in the standard size selected using your confirmed measurements at the time of ordering. Changes in body measurements may affect the final fit. We recommend maintaining consistent communication with the atelier and consulting a bridal seamstress regarding any anticipated adjustments.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Where do you ship?
Lester Roderick currently offers domestic shipping within the United States. International shipping is anticipated as the atelier continues to grow.

How will my garment arrive?
Each order is prepared with the same attention to detail as the garment itself. Your piece will arrive thoughtfully packaged in Lester Roderick's signature presentation and is shipped fully insured. Shipping is included in the price of your garment, so nothing is owed upon arrival.

Can I return or exchange my order?
All Lester Roderick pieces are made to order and are therefore final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Changes to your wedding date are addressed separately, as outlined above.

We encourage all clients to review their selections and confirm their measurements before approving their order and submitting their deposit.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact the atelier promptly upon receipt with photographs and a description of the concern. We will review the matter and guide you through the appropriate next steps.

GARMENT CARE

How should I care for my garment?
Each garment should be handled with care and stored in a clean, dry environment. Due to the delicate nature of bridal fabrics and embellishments, we recommend professional cleaning by a specialist experienced in bridalwear.

Can I preserve my gown after my wedding?
Absolutely. We encourage brides to consider professional bridal preservation to protect their garment for years to come. After all, some things are worth keeping.
